Dolores River Restoration Project

Get Involved!

There are a number of ways to engage in the Dolores River Restoration Partnership and we’re always looking for new perspectives and people willing to roll their sleeves up to help meet our shared restoration goals. Learn more about DRRP >>

There are many options for becoming involved in the partnership. For instance:

  • Private landowners interested in resources available to support restoring your riparian property along the Dolores River - please contact Daniel Oppenheimer at doppenheimer@tamariskcoalition.org
  • Schools, service groups, and individuals interested in joining our next volunteer event - please contact Mike Wight at mike@sccorps.org
  • Private contractors seeking work opportunities - attend a partnership meeting and get to know some of the partners and the work we’re doing; contact the Implementation Subcommittee Chair with specific questions (Daniel Oppenheimer, 970-256-7400, doppenheimer@tamariskcoalition.org), and sign up with the federal contractors registry (https://www.uscontractorregistration.com/)
  • If you would like to join one of the subcommittees, reach out to the primary contacts called out in the subcommittee webpages found in the left-hand menu.
